Palestinian girls huddled in a school hallway yesterday in Nablus as Israeli soldiers and Palestinian gunmen clashed. A soldier and a militant died. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is to arrive in the region today for talks with Israeli and Palestinian officials.
